17. Film & edit my sister Paula’s wedding
I am notoriously slow with editing any project. It took me a year to edit my sister Sandra’s wedding DVD and it almost took me a year to edit my sister Paula’s wedding DVD but it is now completed and was posted to Western Australia last week. This task is complete!
22. Knit 5 things
Knit 5 things
I knitted this scarf for my good friend Donna. The photo doesn’t really do it justice, it’s a great scarf. I have been knitting for years under the guidance of my beautiful grandmother. Unfortunately I still haven’t learnt to knit anything that’s not in a straight line, so scarfs it is!!! I have since starting knitting another scarf for another friend, Anna Marie.
17. Film and edit my sister Paula’s wedding
I am feeling impatient with my 101/1001 project. I want to be scuba diving or doing the canoe trip in SA. I want to be in Europe, in a hot air balloon or on a boogie boarding holiday!!! Instead I am stuck in Melbourne in winter feeling a little cold.
I have made progress with one goal though. Editing my sister Paula’s wedding. The issue with the missing cord has finally been resolved. I bought a new cord at a little computer store in the city on Friday. I have started editing and am on my way to completing this for Paula and Doug and ticking off another goal!
Yarn Bombing
Yarn Bombing.
It’s not on my list, yet. But it is going to be added – soon!!
Yarn Bombing starting to show itself in Fitzroy!!
17. Film and edit my sister Paula’s wedding
My youngest sister Paula was married to her long term partner Doug earlier this year. They are a gorgeous couple and have a beautiful little girl called Lilly. I filmed the wedding and had been waiting on wedding pictures to start the editing process. I now have the wedding photo’s but have been held up by the constant update of technology. My new laptop is not compatible with the cord that connects my video camera to my mac. I am going to buy the connection this week and will then finally start to edit the footage.
16. Write a book about my beautiful grandparents
Here are my gorgeous grandparents, Jean and Max Scanlan. They are pictured here holding the book that I wrote about them. Nan is 91 years old and Max just celebrated his 70th birthday. Nan is a cradle snatcher, that’s for sure. They are the loves of my life.
This picture was taken on 30th May 2010.
16. Write a book about my beautiful grandparents
Here it is, finally finished. I have completed the book on my beautiful grandparents. Their history documented for our family. I wanted to add more but was aware that I needed to complete the book for my grandparents to see. I am currently waiting for the book to be delivered.
The list – 101 things in 1001 days
here it is. my list.
it has taken me a few months to write this list. there are some things on it that i am still not sure about, scuba diving (n0 31) stands out. i want to scuba dive but am scared that i will die while doing it. there are others that i am excited about. (no 60) eating at 20 places out of the age good food guide, 2010. i cant wait. some on the list are long standing goals, (n0 35) climb a hill near mansfield. this is a hill that i have wanted to climb for years. it is a HUGE hill. to get to the hill i will have to walk through a big paddock with long grass. the hill is also privately owned. i am thinking winter might be a good time to undertake this challenge. i am scared of snakes.
